Cooperation with Royal Project

            The Royal Project Foundation and PTT (Public) Company Limited has entered into the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on July 29, 2017, with the aim of implementing the “Research and Development Project of Coffee Cultivation and Production in Natural Resource Conservation System for Sustainable Development” for a period of 4 years, from 2014 to 2017. Its four major objectives are as follows; 
- Study, research and develop Arabica coffee cultivation and production technologies of Royal Project Foundation to be qualified according to international standards
- Support and promote coffee cultivation along with natural resource conservation
- Develop and promote occupational skill  competency on qualified coffee cultivation and production for hill tribefarmers
- Encourage communities to participate in self-development to be the model of strong communitywith economic stability and sustainable society and environmentaccording to the sufficiency economy philosophy

Major cooperation between PTT (Public) Company Limited and Royal Project are as follows;
1. Research and Development Project of Coffee Cultivation and Production in Natural Resource Conservation System for Sustainable Development uses the area for implementation (Pilot Project) in the responsible area of Royal Agricultural Station Inthanon, Ban Luang Sub-District, Chom Thong District, Chiangmai Province It is divided into 2 zones as follows;
- 50 Rai of areafor cultivating original coffee of Ban Nong Lom-Pha Mon Community, Ban Luang Sub-District, Chom Thong District, Chiangmai Province
- 100 Rai of degraded forest area where coffeehas not been cultivated before in Ban Den Community, Ban HuayHia Mai, Ban Pa Kluay, Ban Luang Sub-District, Chom Thong District, Chiangmai Province

2. Project of Green Coffee Trading is the agreement to purchase and sell green coffee. Arabica Coffee Research and Development Department of the Royal Project will provide and sell green coffee, based on specified standards, to PTT in the quantity of at least 100,000 kilograms (100 tons) per year. The period of the Project is 4 year, from 2014 to 2017.
