Direct Sourcing from Coffee Farmers

Cafe Amazon has established a coffee milling plant in Mae Wang District, Chiang Mai Province. The plant serves as a direct purchasing center for Arabica parchment coffee from local farmers, buying their produce under a fair-trade pricing system.


In addition to purchasing coffee, the plant also functions as a farmer knowledge development center.

It provides consultations, problem-solving assistance, and support for improving coffee bean quality, with the ultimate goal of promoting sustainable coffee cultivation.


The Cafe Amazon Chiang Mai milling plant is committed to producing high-quality coffee that meets international certification standards. After processing parchment coffee into green beans, the beans are transported to the Cafe Amazon coffee roasting plant in Ayutthaya Province by electric vehicle (EV truck). This initiative is a pilot project under OR’s SDGs policies, driving the company towards Net Zero and carbon neutrality by 2030.
